“I’m eloping!” used to sound like you’re doing something unapproved or economical, but did you know that the idea has been around for decades and it’s a way millions of couples have gotten happily married? If anything, it’s becoming “the thing” to do and more popular. Our world has changed in a matter a few days in 2020, and instead of waiting around for everything to go “back to normal”, how about we don’t delay our wedding day and make the best out of what we have? Because who knows when and how it will go back? Instead of waiting for the past to happen again, let’s move forward! Let’s embrace the changes, adapt, and be innovative and creative! Because in the end, isn’t that what life is all about? The journey? Isn’t marriage about doing life together and staying in love no matter what circumstances we face? Life will bring us all sorts of things as this year definitely has proven, but what we do with it is our choice. Countless events and gatherings have been postponed, but we believe that love can’t be cancelled or rescheduled. So, let’s make the choice to get married and not allow anything to get in our way.
SO, WHAT’S IS AN ELOPEMENT? I don’t know about you, but I’m a minimalist. And that’s basically how you can see a wedding elopement… It’s for the Bride and Groom who are “wedding minimalists.” This is for couples who don’t need all the unnecessary “STUFF” that in the end will not really matter. Instead, this is for the couple who really cherish an intimate setting with their most favorite loved ones around them and to make their day to be about the two of them. This is for the couple who doesn’t care so much about all the detailed planning that causes stress, but instead want something that is simple with no distraction other than celebrating and marking their most special day focused on just them. Do you like the sound of this and are adventurous too? GREAT! Because another beauty about elopements is that we can go ANYWHERE! We don’t have to be restricted in a traditional venue setting. We can hike up to a mountain top or a waterfall, an infinite cotton field during sunset time, a city setting in front of a mural, you name it! We can explore and brainstorm locations that’s meaningful to you to exchange your vows and truly and authentically make it memorable.
ELOPEMENTS MEAN NO RULES, NO RESTRICTIONS AND NO DISTRACTIONS FROM ALL THE “STUFF”. IT’S AN INTIMATE MOMENT THAT REPRESENTS WHO YOU TRULY ARE AS A COUPLE.
“SO, WHAT DEFINES AN ELOPEMENT?”
Just like a traditional wedding, an elopement can look different for everyone too. So, an elopement can be just the two of you and a few family members and friends up to 25 total. Elopement price doesn't change because of less of more people who attend. It will be up to 4 hours of coverage. Typically, we will shoot for 30 minutes of getting ready, 30 minutes of the ceremony, 30 minutes of portraits with family and friends (if applicable) and the rest will be portraits with the couple. Heard of this before? Yeah me too, and as soon as you see the photos of the most important day of your life, you will regret it. In fact, we have had countless couples inquire us to “redo” their wedding day. Don’t let that happen to you! All of these things cost money - we get it, so let’s spend it wisely on what’s most important. Saving money is a great thing, but spending money and investing wisely is just as important. Have you also heard, “Photos are all you’ll have left?” Yes, that’s a true statement. The value of photography is measured by the sentimental value that it holds which is priceless. Once a moment passes, you can’t get it back even if you “redo” it. The point we are trying to make is that you have to be careful what you hear is true or not out there. There’s so much info and resources and opinions, that it’s important that you make an educated decision on something you’ll do only once in your life, and we are here to assist you with that!

First, out of the over 400 couples that we have shot in the last 11 years, we have shot professional models probably 5 times. But, do you notice that they ALL look amazing? That they ALL look like models? Yes, because it’s our job to make you look your BEST and your FINEST! It’s our job to pose you, it’s our job to DIRECT you. Ever wonder why the “best director” award at the Oscars is one of the most prestigious awards? Because without them, even the best actors wouldn’t know what to do. What makes a basketball team the best? The COACH! So yes, leave that up to us and you don’t have to worry about a thing other than being happy and enjoying your day.
Smile, don’t smile, turn your cheek to the left, look down, “turtle” (we’ll show you what we mean), shoulders back, cross your ankles, stick your hips out more, straighten your shirt, stay still for this shot (you’ll see why), relax your fingers, tell her your chipotle order (there’s a reason for this too), exaggerate your legs crossing, look to the left and not to the right, thumbs in and the rest of the fingers out or vice versa, leading foot to the front, hands on hips, look like you own it, etc…. we will make you look serious or laugh your heads off all on purpose to get the BEST shot! (And by the way, we are ordained officiants, so yeah, if you need one, we can do that too! Some restrictions apply depending on where you reside.)
WHAT’S IT LIKE TO WORK WITH YOU?
Did you know that you’ll spend more time with us than anyone else during your day? Yeah, so make sure you like your photographer! Our goal is to be there as another friend where we make you feel like we are on a great blind double date! But, at the same time, we are professionals who will photograph in an unobtrusive way during your intimate moments so that you can have your moment while getting it photographed. This is why getting to know you as a couple, hearing your love story and the vision of your day is so important to us at the initial consultation. Your story is what drives us creatively and emotionally! Think of it as getting a documentary captured for your day. Within minutes, the ice will be broken, you’ll get comfortable with us like you’ve known us for years and not notice the camera there. We make sure to give you a great balance of personal and professional touch!

An assistant who will assist him with gear, lighting and anything else Craig may need with production.
Outfit consultation - Yes, this is so important! It can make or break a photo, so let us help you. Our honest feedback by no means mean that you don’t have any fashion sense. There are just some photography “no, no’s” and “yes’s!”
Timeline guidance - Even though it may be simpler than a full, traditional wedding, you will still need organization and we will help you so that everyone involved will be on the same page. Yes, it’s like getting a planner!
