Utah… the state that we’ve all only heard of, but dreamed of going especially in the past year. Craig has been watching a lot of Youtube videos of all the hiking trails in Zion National Park, so that was a must do for him. For me, getting a family shot at the Salt Flats was a must ever since he showed me online, so even though these two locations were pretty far from one another and the flats were out of our route, we made it a point to make the extra drive to make this happen.
Yosemite National Park, CA // #ObristAdventures Summer 2021
In Sept of 2019, Craig attended a men’s retreat in Yosemite called APEX. We met the organizer of this retreat, Jeff, at a marriage conference that we attended a couple of times. Attendees were mostly photographers, various entrepreneurs and creators.
City #1 - Ocala, FL // Silver Springs State Park // 21 Days of Obrist Travel
“THREE weeks?” is the response we got mostly when people ask what we’ve been up to. Yes, you heard right… 21 days was the goal and we did it! It was more of a mission than a vacation per se. When we decided to take our girls out of their school and register them to our county’s online school and homeschool our son, we wanted to make that decision count.

Obrist Family Beach Vacation 2020 // Santa Rosa Beach Tips & Recommendations
If you know me, I hate it when things don’t go as planned. If my heart is set on something, I want exactly that. Well, I’ve been getting a lot of training on things not working out the way I want it this year, that’s for sure. LOL! But, that’s a good thing because I’m definitely learning that God’s plans are always better than mine.

How We Grew a Multicultural Clientele
I was born in South Korea and grew up there until I was eight years old. Even as a child, I was fascinated with foreigners. It was rare that I saw an American person, but when I did, I thought it was the coolest thing. Through my dad (step-dad who was the only father I ever knew and called, "Dad") who was stationed in South Korea, I got to see so many Americans at the military base.
Minneapolis Hospitality // It's a Real Thing
If you’ve been following us on Instagram, you have probably recently seen what we were up to in Minneapolis. It was a short trip, but boy did we have fun and meet so many amazing people! We did so much that I felt like I was there for a week! You may be wondering why we even went there!
