Meeting brides at bridal shows has been our tradition for many years! That’s the way we met Elizabeth + Thomas awhile back, and it was so good seeing them again. If you follow us on our stories, you know that we like to travel as much as we possibly can with our kiddos, so any road trip is very fun for us! Hightower Falls was the venue that our couple chose, and we were so glad because this place is beautiful! We’ve been here a couple of times before for a few weddings, and it’s always been in different seasons.

When I received our next couple’s inquiry, this is what was going on in my mind… The form that came in our email said, “Bride: Cherise Washington” and I read the rest of the form. Then, I went back to the email and read it again. I said to myself, “Cherise” then said, “Wait. OMG, Cherise Washington?!”

Just in case you don't know yet, things happen. We can control only so much. Sometimes, there's nothing we can do. Like at all... That's where love comes in. When love enters, it just makes everything better. It makes us stop and realize that that's the only thing that matters in life. In the end, that's all we need.

Is it just me or does time go by faster and faster the older I get? I just don’t remember life passing by so fast when I was younger. Well, I wish there was a way to slow it down just a little… It’s crazy when I’m out of town just for a few days and I feel like my kids grew a foot and have matured so much.
