Milestones are so important and significant to us all. Just look at parents who post pictures of their babies every month with a sign that show how old they are… It shows that you accomplished something. A goal that has been met… something that you’re very proud of. Isn’t that the same with anniversaries? 1 year, 5 year, 10 year (we are on this), 20, 50… Every single year when you reach your wedding anniversary, don’t you just look back and think, “Wow! We did it! Again!” Sometimes, that year can be hard and more difficult than it should be and against all odds, through all the thick and the thin, you’re still together with the one you love. The one you made a vow to love… It feels good that you kept the promise to love unconditionally to one another. It feels so good that you can still look at your spouse and feel butterflies. It feels good that you love them more now than when you first met them. Now, I don’t know about you, but that’s a great reason to celebrate! That’s why I just love our couple, Monica + Dominic. They’re doing just that. And, guess what? TODAY is their anniversary! 18th to be exact. I know what you’re thinking… they don’t look that old, do they? I thought the same thing… Hey, there no better fountain of youth than love. Oh, I just so love that we are posting this today! Just look at these pictures… try to see beyond what you see… I don’t know all the details of their marriage story, but being married myself, I know that these two truly love one another. They deeply desire to continue their marriage well and to make it stronger year after year. Marriage takes work and they’re doing a good job!
