Can you guess what Amanda + Geoffrey's wedding and ours had in common? Yes, PINK! :) Since I was a little girl, my fav movie was "Steel Magnolias", and when Julia Roberts in that movie had a "blush and bashful" wedding, I knew that I wanted my wedding to be a world of pink. Well, when Amanda told us that she was going to have a pink wedding, we just knew that we were meant to be! Her wedding day made us reminisce on our day so much.... Her flowers were beautiful as well as every detail like her shoes, table clothes, napkins, everything! Even Geoffrey's bowtie was pink and it was perfect! Their ceremony was on top of the Yonah mountains, and it was breathtakingly beautiful.... what a VIEW! Wow! Although this place is only about an hour from our home, we felt like we were on a far getaway place... After months and months of hot, summer weddings, we really enjoyed the cooler weather. Finally a wedding where we didn't have to sweat to death. :) The sky was clear and Amanda looked gorgeous with her never ending smile, and Geoffrey was so happy to see his bride. It was our first time shooting at Yonah, and we loved every part of it! The food was great, and it was a great evening with all of their guests dancing the night away. Amanda + Geoffrey, we thank you and all of your family and friends for being incredible to work with! You guys were troopers throughout all the adventurous portraits, and we truly enjoyed capturing your day. We are so happy for you both and we wish you guys an amazing marriage journey. Cheers!
