Fall truly is a beautiful season, isn’t it? It’s no wonder that October is considered the busiest month for all photographers out there. We have been having a photo shoot literally everyday these this month, and we are thrilled to be announcing Elizabeth + John’s engagement session today! Their little girl joined in the fun as well, and she looked so adorable in her cutest outfit! We had so much fun getting to know them during the shoot and learning about them. I was especially fascinated with John’s job at CNN. He works in their photo/video department, and I’m sure I talked his ears off with all the questions I had. :) (Sorry, John… )
Gosh, the light on this day was spectacular and more than anything, that’s what I go for… LIGHT! Because THAT’S what make a great photo. Not the location or the background… many people ask if they can get a photo at a certain location and our response is always the same, “If light is good there.” So, we appreciated Elizabeth + John’s trust in what we do and knew that we were taking them to certain spots for a reason. The light literally made our subjects glow and wow! We couldn’t be happier with the results… When my wife isn’t there, I always call her first thing to tell her I’m on the way home, and the first thing she always asks is, “How did the shoot go?” And my answer was, “smooth as butter….” because it really was! Everything went so smoothly and even their little girl did amazingly well and loved the camera.
Eliabeth + John, we had such a wonderful time with you. Thank you for making our job so super easy as mentioned above, for trusting us. We hope that you love your photos and we are looking forward to seeing you again on your wedding day!
