What is it about fall that makes all of us love it? So many things change… the colors of the leaves, the coolness of the air, our wardrobe, our outdoor actives, our home decor and yes, even the menu at Starbucks. :) During this time of the year, it’s almost as if we reprioritize life…. I see more families take intentional time with their families and take vacations that are more relaxing like staying in a cabin and just sit by a campfire. As we see the end of the year draw near, we can’t help but begin reflecting on what all that we’ve gone through throughout the year. This year more than ever, I think we will be able to sit at our Thanksgiving table and truly count our blessings even through a trying year for us all. Jaemi + Charles’s wedding really allowed me to realize that fall is officially here. Their wedding day was so perfect and the most ideal fall wedding setting in Georgia. Everything they chose from her dress, to the bridesmaids dresses and color, to Charles’s suit, the venue/location… everything defined “fall wedding”. The elegance of her dress fit her style and personality so well, and the bridesmaids dresses were so unique! The colors and even the different texture and material they chose were so on point. I so wanted to try on every single one of them - lol! They totally brought velvet back, and I can’t wait to get one! :) What stuck out to me more than everyone looking great however was the friendship that the couple and the wedding party shared. The bridesmaids were SO FUN and when we were shooting them during “getting ready”, this cozy Airbnb was filled with so much laughter. Jaemi had a smile on her the entire time… the bridesmaids constantly made her laugh, and it was good to see such wonderful friendships amongst them. They weren’t the only ones who made her joyful though… her mom and other family members were there and yes, her cutie patootie daughter. She was the cutest flower girl ever and I was impressed by how well behaved she was! A wedding day is a long day even for adults and she took the day like a champ! It was the cutest when she came down the aisle being held by her grandmother…. When you have subjects who are so beautiful inside and out, it makes our job quite easy. Every shot made us happy as photographers, and the entire day just flowed flawlessly. Jaemi + Charles, we appreciate you guys very much! Thank you for being such sweet clients, and it was truly a pleasure to meet you and spend this special time of your life with you. We are grateful that you chose us. We hope that you love your wedding portraits and treasure them forever! We wish you the best of the best and happy marriage!
