This season with the virus has been a difficult season one way or another for everyone. We all have different opinions about it, but one thing we have in common for sure is that it has affected us all. For us too, it has been hard… some days are harder than others. There are many things we’ve learned during this time, that’s for sure. One thing is that I’ve realized how much I love our job. When life was all dandy and hunky dory, who would’ve ever thought something like this would happen? In some ways, I really needed this though… I needed this time to realize how much I’ve been taking my life for granted, how much I’ve taken our business for granted, as well as all the special friendships around us. I couldn’t believe how much I wanted to work, how much I wanted to create again, and how much I just wanted to be with my fellow humans. When it was Brittany + Tyree’s engagement day, I can’t tell you how happy I was to wake up that morning! I actually had a reason to get myself ready and go outside of my house! Woo hooooooo! We started their engagement session at Lenox Park in Atlanta and then ended at Grand Hyatt Hotel. If you know me, I love people who know what they want, and planning this engagement portraits was so awesome for us because this couple knew just that - what they wanted. They were so professional… so, Britany is a real estate agent and I’m telling you, I wish I could go back to the days we were house hunting because I would so want her to be our agent in a heartbeat! Yeah, so if you’re looking for someone AMAZING, contact her! I’m not just saying that either because as a professional ourselves in our industry, you can just tell that she’s got it. That she’s on top of things and a great decision maker. I LOVE working with pros like that. People who really know their stuff and can simply do their job well in an excellent way. While Craig was shooting just Brittany for some shots for her business, I got to enjoy talking to Tyree. Loved how much he supports Brittany, and as we were talking, his eyes never stopped starring at her making sure that she had everything she needed. Oh, I just love that! He’s sweet and smart! Wish we had more time to talk about his job because it sounded so interesting! People’s stories about what they do, how they got into it, why and all that is so interesting to me! These two seriously made our job easy because being beautiful is one thing, but they knew how to pose so naturally! They just ‘got’ what Craig was saying when he was directing them. Even with the smiles and laughs, they did EXACTLY what they were supposed to do. Brittany really values excellence - that’s something I could tell right away about her, so I knew that she appreciated Craig’s ‘perfection’ in posing. Brittany + Tyree! What a pleasure it was to work with you…! Thank you for allowing us to be part of your engagement season. It was a joy to meet you and getting to know you, and we hope you love your photos!
With much love,
Craig + Unchong
