There are so many things that are so cool about our job, and one of them is that we get to learn so much. Yes, NEVER stop learning… NEVER! At every wedding or shoot, we learn something new about how to run our business better, how to be a better photographer and through our clients, we learn how to become better individuals. Our clients are from all sorts of life, they’re all sorts of race and culture, they have all sorts of life style and occupations. So yes, when you spend an entire day so closely on a day where it’s one of the BEST days of their lives, you can get to know so much about them. Well, at Annalaissa’s wedding, we learned and felt true joy. From the way I learned the definition of happiness, it’s conditional, but JOY is not. Because JOY is contained in your heart and JOY is something that you can have only through Jesus. He’s the source of JOY and no matter what happens in life, no one can steal that away from us and that includes COVID19. It’s been quite a year for all of us… for the ENTIRE world, and you can really see who has that joy in their hearts, and let me tell you… Annalaissa + Kyle were definitely them! You know what’s crazy? I didn’t even attend their wedding. We had to hire another assistant, and after Craig came home, he told me for hours that “you missed out!”. I was so bummed that I had to miss this precious wedding. He just couldn't believe what he had experienced. He said that Annalaissa was seriously the happiest bride he’s ever seen. He couldn’t get over how sweet Kyle, the groomsmen, all the bridesmaids, and how kind all of their families were. He said that Annalaissa’s smile never left her face. You know that “overflowing joy?” Yeah, they have that. Have you met someone in your life where you leave from your encounter with them thinking, “Wow, I wish I could be more like them?” Yeah, they made me think that. Have you ever watched a movie or anything with a story of people who are so generous, so selfless, so considerate, encouraging and simply nice? Yeah, that’s them… Annalaissa’s mom especially really made us feel so loved. Yes, they made me desire to be better. To care more…. to be nicer, to be more generous. Because in the end, isn’t that what life is all about? LOVE? It is and that’s all that matters… Annalaissa + Kyle, thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you for teaching us these things and reminding us of these things. You guys have been pretty amazing, and we are so grateful. To call this a job is just unreal. You hired us to take care of you, but we feel taken care of. We pray that the joy inside of you will always grow more and more everyday. That it will impact everyone around you like the way it did for us. That you will be able to plant seeds of faith and love to everyone you meet. We wish you the happiest marriage!
