I’m sure you’ve all heard of the sayings, “Laughter is good for the soul” and “Laughter is the best medicine”, right? I truly believe that…. because with laughter also comes positivity, joy and happiness which affects your mentality on life. It really does something to the mind and how you think is what you are. That’s one of the biggest reasons why I fell in love with my husband, Craig. His laughter brought and still brings joy to my life daily. Even during the times we argue, we laugh because we just can’t help it, and he can make a joke out of anything. I begin with this because Brittany + Patrick’s wedding was filled with laughter. How much they laugh with one another reminds me of us. Brittany cracked me up the entire day! Just love her humor! Usually for a couple, when one is funny, the other is not and vice versa. But with them, they’re BOTH so funny and a delight to be around. For the entire day, Brittany + Patrick never stopped smiling. Their down to earth personalities made their wedding just so easy going. Weddings can be stressful and sometimes there’s tension in the air for various reasons, but not this wedding! Brittany + Patrick were not going to have any of that and truly just enjoyed their day.
And, can we talk about this NEW venue? First, our couple did such a good job in picking this place out! It’s in North Georgia, and they just opened this year in 2020, so it’s super new. It was like finding this hidden treasure… I LOVED IT! The house where the bride gets ready was the cutest home ever, and the way they styled it was seriously the best. I wish I could replicate that in our home! The ceremony spot in front of the modern barn was just perfect. At a glance when I first went there, I thought that was it until I went to the BACK of the barn and saw the reception area. Oh my gawwwwww… I gasped because wow, just wow! I told Craig, “let’s get married here again!” LOL Really, I totally would! You just have to go see it yourself because the photos don’t do it justice. (Not saying the photos are bad. HA!) Ok so the way it looks is one thing, but how nice the staff is is another. They were the MOST accommodating and kind staff I have yet experienced from a venue, and we’ve been to countless ones. They’re such team players! They were so hard working and did whatever they could to serve the couple and other vendors, and we truly appreciated that very much.
Can you sense that we really enjoyed this day? Yes….! But, it doesn’t end there either. If having a great looking, happy couple on top of a beautiful venue with awesome staff weren’t enough, we also had the most incredible bridal party AND all family members and guests were amazing too! AHHHHHH! Could this day get any better? Oh yes, the weather was great too… My gosh, dream wedding? Yes, if this is not, I don’t know what is… I felt like we were shooting a wedding in our own backyard. Everything felt so comfortable and easy. Brittany + Patrick, great job on planning such a wonderful wedding and we hope that it was everything you ever wished. Thank you for being so fun and trusting us with every shot. We are very grateful for you both and it’s neat in how in just two days (your engagement session and now your wedding), we have so many memories with one another. We pray that your marriage is filled with continued laughter and never ending joy…. that no matter what life may bring, that you will together overcome every little and big things and always remember the day that you became one. We love you and wish you only the very best!
