Couples like Lakeya + Jermaine make me think, “Yeah… you either got it or you don’t”. And as you can see, they GOT it! They have what Simon Cowell calls, “the WOW factor”. As soon as I saw Lakeya’s fascinator, I just knew that it was going to be one fantastic day! If you know me, I’m beyond obsessed with the Royal Family. I’m one of those crazy people that got up at 3am to watch Prince William and Kate get married and yes, I binge watched “The Crown” on Netflix. (If you haven’t watched it, what are you waiting for?) Love the hats the British wear!!! Lakeya’s style inspiration comes from Audrey Hepburn, and she totally wears it so perfectly. It’s literally made for HER! She wore one for her engagement portraits too… They decided to do have an intimate wedding and contacted us just weeks before her wedding date, and we are so happy that the date everything worked out so smoothly. I LOVE couples that just know how to make things happen and even though we are all still going through so much because of the pandemic, I’m so encouraged by those who move on with life and just make the best out of what we’ve got! Everything was done so well and executed excellently. We enjoyed every minute of this intimate wedding day especially because our subjects were just so HOT! They’re both so natural and comfortable in front of the lens. Their confidence is what makes them excellent models and ya’ll… as a photographer, there’s nothing more you can ask for than CONFIDENCE! Just when you think it can’t get any better, they were so nice to be around too. It was truly a pleasure and a delightful day… Lakeya + Jermaine, thank you guys for having us.
