One of the things that I love about photography is that you can make any place look beautiful and unique. We can make a parking lot look like the most special, exotic place… at this shoot, we were able to make Stone Mountain look like a special desert out in the west! So yeah…. you can ‘fake’ some of these locations and make them cooler than they are because in the end, if you know photography, you know that it’s all about good lighting. BUT! There are some things that can’t be faked and that’s our couple’s gaze at one another. The way they look at each other is something that we can’t really ‘teach’ them to do in that short period of time. Our couples are not actors or models… they are two people in love who usually have never taken professional photos before. So, we try our best to direct them as much as we can and make them feel comfortable so that their genuine feelings and chemistry towards one another come out naturally. Well, one thing that really stood out to me about Victoria + Sergio were their eyes. GOSH! They were FIERCE! They were PIERCING! And when they looked at each other, you KNEW they were in love. Yeah, you can’t direct anyone to do that and they did it so well. They had so much passion and expression in their eyes and that’s what made their portraits so amazing and as photographers, what more could you ask for?! Our time with them was such a pleasure…. they were super easy to work with! We already know that their wedding day is going to be organized, classy and amazing! Victoria + Sergio, thank you for being YOU! We are so happy for you, and we hope that you love your photos as much as we do and more. We can’t wait to celebrate you both in a month!
