There are many things that we “should” do in life, and planning is one of them. Planning is definitely a great and a wise thing to do, but we must also remember that sometimes or many times, things don’t go according to plan. That definitely doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t plan by any means; however, we do have to be prepared to be flexible. I believe that knowing how to be flexible and being able to handle obstacles that can come in the way of your plans is key to success. For Leah + Kendale’s engagement session, we had a plan. But, we also had backup plans! We never want to disappoint our bride, so we let them know the expectations ahead of time just in case. When we planned in doing their shoot at the Millennium Gate, we shared that there’s a chance of getting kicked out. But, we also had a plan B! When we got there, we saw someone else taking photos, so we thought everything was ok. As soon as we got to the spot, we quickly took as many photos as possible, and guess what? Yup…. security came and made us leave, but at least he was very nice about it and allowed us to finish the shot we started. We were bummed, but was happy that we were still able to get enough for sure! If you scroll down, I’ll think you’ll agree that we got so many for the few minutes that we were there. We went around the area where we were allowed to shoot and got some more great images. We then went to Piedmont Park to capture our couple with the Atlanta skyline, and they turned out so good! Our couple was so flexible and understanding with what was going on, and we truly appreciated that. We had the most wonderful time walking around our beautiful city with them and simply had a great time. Leah + Kendale, we enjoyed every second with you! Thank you for your flexibility and just enjoying the evening no matter what! We are so happy that you love your photos and can’t wait to see you again next fall in 2022! Woot woot!
With much love,
Craig + Unchong
