Some people have a gift in making others feel like family… they’re sincerely welcoming, accepting and simply kind. Being thoughtful for them is easy because that’s just the way they are. They don’t hesitate in being generous because for them, it’s fulfilling and so worth living for. I wasn’t able to make it to Linda + Hudson’s engagement last year, but I was determined to not miss their wedding day! Just from what I heard about them from Craig to seeing their photos, I wanted to meet them badly in person and celebrate their big day… I try my best to be at all the shoots, but it’s honestly hard with our kids’ schedules and all, so I was thankful to be there and meet our beautiful couple! As soon as I met them, wow… I felt so comfortable with our bride and groom. They were SO SWEET! Now that we are older and our kids are older too of course, I can’t help but imagine our kids’ weddings every time I go. When I met Linda, I remember wishing that our daughters will be just like that on their wedding day… sweet, calm and prepared. The entire day flowed really well because everyone was so cooperative and on time! So for that, we thank the Bride, Groom, all the Bridesmaids and Groomsmen as well. The wedding party was so enjoyable to be around. I love it when they just laugh like crazy and have a good time…. their contagious laughs really made the day so easy going and fun. This crowd knew how to party, and they danced the night away! The reception flew by because the dance floor was packed the entire time. Speaking of reception, ya’ll…. did you know that Linda got me vegan cupcake because she knew I’m allergic to dairy? It was the best surprise EVER! Really, who does that? There’s so much that a Bride has to do and remember on a wedding day let alone remember the allergies that her photographer’s wife has. To say that I was touched is an understatement… Linda + Hudson, what an honor it was to meet you both. I feel like you guys are our brother and sister. Truly! Craig and I adore you guys… May you continue to be blessed! May the love you have for one another only grow deeper and better. Have an amazing marriage, and may these photos always be a reminder of how your journey began.
