Time… it’s one thing that none of us can control. It’s guaranteed that every second will pass no matter what. None of us have any doubt about it. We may disagree on many things, but the passing of time is something that we will all agree on. How we spend time here on earth will determine our level of fulfillment, integrity and love. We only get so much and no matter how great something may be, our time management will show the true colors of our character. I love Ji Young and how she is an amazing steward of her time. She values time and what she does with it and who she spends it with. Months ago last year, she already had in mind to celebrate her upcoming 40th and to do it right. Celebrations are a big deal…. I mean, we are in the business of celebrations! Weddings, portraits, parties/events, etc… we capture the best times in people’s lives! Milestone birthdays truly need to be celebrated as well and I appreciate that Ji Young made a point to do that. When she inquired about it, I was so happy for her as a friend and as a creative to be able to capture her beauty. We don’t say this because it’s a nice thing to say, but she really is beautiful inside and out! The few conversations that we got to have with her have always been very deep and meaningful. It was worth every second of my time! She is so worth spending time with, talking to and just getting know. The more we get to know her, the more we love her. She inspires us more than I think she realizes… Her bright smiles and the way she can light up a room with her joy is something that is so contagious. I love her drive to do better, to be better and to always know and love God more. She sets goals and goes for them… she plans her time wisely to discover and adventure this world that God has given us. She’s actually on the other side of the world right now as I write this, and we are so happy that she just goes for it! Ji Young, we love you! We treasure our friendship and our prayer for you is that you enjoy this 40th year of your life and grow deeper in the Lord daily. Thank you for giving us the honor to photograph your special season of life. You have always encouraged us and spoke love to us, and we are so thankful for that.
