There are so many things to consider when planning a wedding… what time of year, the city, the usual weather conditions of that season, outdoor/indoor ceremony, the venue and who would be willing to fly out there, etc, etc, etc… Those are just the main decisions and then there are MANY details to put together. But then, there are things that are just totally and completely out of control like the weather. HA! Yeah… There’s nothing you can do about that except to be happy with what you get. And you know what? That’s exactly what Vero + Robert did, and I loved that about them! Did it rain? Not all day, but yes, it did rain when we were about to take them out to take portraits after the ceremony. But, what can you do? NOTHING! The good thing was that The Tate House had MANY indoor places where we could shoot. Their ceremony space has windows literally ALL around it, but so it gets amazing natural light, so we were able to get some shots there. I actually loved it there because their decor was soooooo pretty!!!! So, it was great that we got to take full advantage of that! Their wedding color was this soft blue, and ya’ll… I’m falling in love with it! Even for home decor, I usually go soft pink/blush and that has been my favorite for the last five years or so, but now I’m slowly but surely changing it to blue! I’m currently designing a couple of rooms for my designs client, and I can’t wait to show it to you all (yeah, I do that!)! Vero + Robert’s wedding color scheme definitely inspired me with it, so thank you guys! ANYWAYS…. despite the little changes we had to make here and there because of the short lived rain, our couple never, ever allowed it to ruin their attitude or JOY! They were the sweetest and the such an easy going couple to work with… Their genuine smiles were the most photogenic! Loved just talking to them and spending time as we got to capture their wedding moments as well as portraits together. They’re so easy to become friends with, so they made us feel very comfortable. Vero + Robert, you guys are beautiful inside and out and your wedding day turned out beautifully! You guys did so well in planning your day and all the decor and details were excellent. We pray that your marriage is blessed for countless years to come!
