Trust is something that is priceless… it’s not something that you can simply buy. It’s something that must be earned over time. You have to consistently and faithfully show it to the other person over and over and over again. You get to really know someone’s character after having many experiences with them. Phuong and her family are very special to us in many ways. It’s been… hm… I honestly don’t even know exactly how many years it’s been, but I think over 10?! She’s one of our first family portrait clients and she has stuck it through with us after all these years. When we first began shooting her family, her kids, as you can imagine, were very little. But, look at them now! I mean… wow!! I feel like I’m an uncle visiting them once a year when I photograph them. :) Even though it’s only once a year, it’s still so special and great to see them and spend time with them. Every year, Phuong has a theme that she has thought of, and we love all of her great ideas! We usually have to suggest ideas to our clients, but this lady has enough creative juices for many years to come! She wanted some black and white studio style this year and wow, they turned out so great that I want to do it for our family too!! If you can believe it, we just did it in their basement!
