Whenever you mention weddings to someone, most people respond with a negative emotion and equate it as being stressful. Don’t allow that to be the “normal” thing about weddings because it really doesn’t have to be that way. Weddings will flow like the couple’s personalities. If they’re down to earth, it will be calm and stress free. Even when things go wrong, they won’t react to it; rather, they will let it go if it’s something that’s out of their control or they will do what they can to fix it. And if it can’t be fixed, the show will just go on. When we first go into a wedding and meet the bride, you can sense the level of stress through her composure and peace or the lack of. That will set the tone for the entire day. Interestingly enough, shooting weddings have allowed us to understand and learn about different personalities, and that is the most fascinating thing! All that to say… Alexi + Tyler’s wedding was one where peace reigned! The day flowed so smoothly and seriously… they were the sweetest couple ever. They were both so laid back! You could tell that they were truly embracing and enjoying their day. I wish this upon all couples… for them to be able to just kick back, look their best and be full of JOY! Alexi + Tyler should totally have consultations with future bride and grooms because they were that amazing. But you know… it does help that they have some amazing families and friends who are very supportive too. The bond that they had with their parents, siblings and friends from all sorts of background was simply awesome to witness. Craig and I are obviously in an interracial marriage, so seeing other interracial couples is so special to us! Combining two totally different cultures is not easy, but these two families did it gracefully and with love. My heart felt so full after this wedding day… we went home completely fulfilled! Alexi + Tyler, thank you guys so much for a heartwarming day. Doing our job is one thing and is expected, but to experience a beautiful day with you guys was what made it special. We pray that God continues to give you favor and blessings upon your lives. Our world is blessed because of your union, and your marriage will have a positive impact with those that you encounter.
