I believe that everything happens for a reason. That nothing is just a coincidence. Even with our clients, I know that it's more than "just business". There's more of a reason than just because they booked us. I know because I believe in a God who is far bigger than that, and I believe that he has everything under control. Every encounter that we have with another being can either be a good or a bad thing. It can either encourage you or discourage you. That person can either literally ruin your day or make it the best day you've ever had. There's so much power in the experience that you give someone that you meet. My mom always taught me to be someone who brightens someone's day and to make a positive difference in that person's life even if all you can do for them is smile. Sharlene and Cedric's moms must have taught them the same thing because from the moment we began the shoot to the moment we finished, they had such an impact on us. A positive impact. A positive experience. How is it that they pay us to do our job yet they give us a great experience? Their shoot broke the record for the most laughter. We completely got each other's humor, and just laughed so much. It was one of the hottest shoots we've had thus far, but you know what? Who cares if you're having fun! I just felt so bad because I looked like I was melting... It was embarrassing because I just could not stop sweating. LOL Throughout the shoot, but especially at the end of the shoot, they said the most encouraging words to us. Words like that bring tears to our eyes.... like really. Because it's so fulfilling and humbling to know that all the hard work is not in vain. I just can't express how thankful we are... how grateful we are to call couples like this our clients. Sharlene + Cedric, we left your shoot in awe of who God is and how He is so good all the time. Thank you for being so amazing and FUN! You guys are such treasures and more than just clients to us.
