Fulfillment is a need that we all have as human beings. It gives us purpose and a reason for why we do what we do. We are really blessed to have clients who gives us their 100% support. How amazing is that? Sometimes, It’s just unbelievable to us. Before we introduce our next couple, let me give you a short little history. We shot Lerissa’s brother’s wedding two years ago, and it was AWESOME! We all bonded so well and simply had a blast. Then, her other brother got engaged and DOH! We were already booked for their date. You guys, we were beyond bummed… I mean, we were devastated. How could this be?! Why????? But, we still did their engagement portraits and it was of course just as fun. Then this year, they tagged us on a photo of AJ proposing to Lerissa at Animal Kingdom! Say whaaaaaaat? Just when I thought that we couldn’t love this family more, they have something very important common with us and that’s the love for Disney World! We are crazy in love with Mickey and Minnie and when we found out that they were too, I really thought that they’re my brothers and sisters from another mother. :) Within a week, we booked her wedding, and here we are now already blogging their engagement. So, let me tell you… this session almost got cancelled because of rain. As you know, this season has been quite crazy with rain in Georgia, and the forecast was looking pretty bad. Lerissa + AJ were coming up from Savannah, so we really wanted this to work out. But, the weather channel kept giving us bad news, so we had to cancel. About an hour later, the forecast was looking better. What in the world? So, to make the long story short, we went for it and when we met, the chances of rain was 0%. WHAT?! Wow, we were so thankful that everything worked out and the weather was actually amazing! We were so happy to see them! They looked soooooooo good in their outfits and they were so fun. They had the brightest smiles and we just knew that it was going to be one great shoot. We strolled around Ponce City Market and landed the cutest spots for the casual outfit set. We then went to the fabulous Ventanas and had the best night time portraits there. They booked the Ventanas for an hour and was it worth it our what?! There, you can get the best view of the Atlanta skyline and I think you guys will agree! Lerissa + AJ, you guys were wonderful! Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity! Getting to know you both was beyond wonderful, and if your engagement session was this fun, I can’t imagine what your wedding is going to be like! See you in Savannah! ;)
