Jessica + Joel / Piedmont Park & Atlanta Skyline Engagement

Knowing that God is an all knowing, omnipotent God, I know and trust that there’s no such thing as “coincidence” or “accident”. Everything has a reason… every encounter we have has a purpose. Sometimes we feel like that we will never meet someone ever again or have any relation to that individual, but you know what? You never know… We may think that of someone that we meet at a gas station, or the checkout lady at a grocery store, or someone we pass by the hallway, but you just don’t know how God can bring you back together.

Joel was a teenager where Craig and I used to serve as youth leaders. Wow… that was many moons ago! Their planner contacted us saying that they wanted to meet and even then, we didn't know who they were by name. I made an appointment for Jess + Joel to meet with Craig and on the way home from the consultation, Craig called me with disbelief. He said, “Guess who that was?? Joel used to be in 212! (The name of the youth ministry.)” Say whaaaaaaaaat? Wow, I could not believe it! But, my first thought was, “Wait…. Am I that old?” LOL! Yes, indeed I am because Joel is now a grown man who is marrying the beautiful Jess. They will be saying, “I do” very soon and it’s crazy that these ‘teens’ are now all adults who will be beginning a new generation for their families. Wow!

Planning the details for their e-session was such a blast especially the outfits part! Jess and I had so much fun texting one another, and it was so good to finally meet her in person. She was BEAUTIFUL! Her makeup, hair and outfits were so on point and Joel looked dapper too! Their joy just exuded from within, and I’m telling you… we laughed during the entire shoot. It was so fun walking around with them at Piedmont Park on such a beautiful day… they were up for taking a risk to go on top of a parking deck that we could’ve gotten kicked out of, so that was pretty adventurous. :) They were up for doing whatever it took to get the shot. As you’ll see in the images, they’re both so photogenic, and their smiles? Yeah… it just can’t get more genuine or pure than that! Joel, we are so proud of you. God is proud of you. The love you have for your bride, Jess, is so clear… Thank you for making this world a better place with the love that you guys have for one another. The world is definitely sweeter because of you two. Keep walking the walk, and we pray that God continues to bless you both and what’s ahead of you. We can’t wait to celebrate you on your wedding day. Thank you so much for remembering us and choosing us…. we are truly honored to be part of your wedding journey. See you on the big day!

With much love,

Craig + Unchong
