They say that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, and although I agree with that statement, I also believe that “there’s beauty that no one can deny” as well. It doesn’t matter who you were, anyone and everyone who saw Baillie + Harrison on their wedding day couldn’t deny that they were truly beautiful. I scrolled over these photos over and and over and over again before writing, and that’s what’s popping out of the monitor to me right now - their beauty. Baillie looked like a true princess, and her genuine smile and laughter can be felt when you look at these photographs.
One of my fav parts of their day was when Harrison’s groomsman pretended to be Baillie for their first look. Over the HUNDREDS of weddings that we have shot, we’ve never had anyone do this before! We’ve only seen and heard of these stories, but never got to capture them, so this was a special treat as a photographer, and witnessing it was seriously hilarious. Loved how this group of friends and family had so much energy and love for one another and just knew how to have fun and celebrate the joyous day.
The photos will speak for themselves, but one of the reason why we love this venue for this time of the year is all the blossoms that peak during Spring. Callanwode’s garden is simply stunning and with our gorgeous couple in it, it made it that much better. Although we’ve shot here many times before, each couple bring their own unique style into what we can create, and Baillie + Harrison definitely gave us a new, fresh perspective and creative ideas! Many of the epic shots from this wedding literally took our breath away and we hope it does the same for you as you view this blog post. I can’t wait to update our website with our favs from this wedding!
