The more I’m married to Craig, the more I realize how thankful I am that he’s FUN! I’m telling you… if our kids just had me, they would have the most boring life. Naturally, I’m such a home body and just content with doing what I gotta do. But, I married someone who is wildly adventurous, can’t stand boredom or doing anything the same. Thanks to him, I’ve become to like outdoors more and overall became active. Our kids probably have seen so much more of nature and the world more than I have my entire lifetime because my parents were homebodies too, so yes… I hope our kids know how blessed they are! How does this relate to our couple, Brittany + Patrick? You see, they told Craig that they didn’t want to do something that we’ve already done. Brittany wanted a waterfall, but not the waterfalls that we have already shot. When a bride tells Craig something like that, that makes him so excited because he can now discover something NEW and DIFFERENT and CREATIVE! His mind goes into his adventurous mode… when a couple is willing to do something different, that frees his creative juices. So when we were discussing their location, Tallulah Gorge Waterfall came to his mind. I’ve been to this place only once before and couldn’t remember all the details; whereas for Craig, he has been a few more times. I told Brittany that there’s a “beast” of stairs at this place, but even when I was telling her, I didn’t remember that it was THIS strenuous. LOL Maybe I’m just getting old? If you’ve been there, I know you know what I’m referring to. Physically, it honestly was challenging, but I’m so glad that we conquered this hike with Brittany + Patrick. Even though we sweat like crazy, they never once complained and in fact, we talked so much, smiled, laughed and simply had a great time. They were the friendliest and FUN couple EVER! I could tell that there’s so much laughter in their relationship, and I love that about them. We all got along so well from the moment they came - it was as if we’ve been friends for years! And OMG, the photos are breathtaking! Wow, just wow! I literally gasped when Craig showed me their first sneak peek. The scenery at this place was magical and it was so worth the hike! Brittany + Patrick, you guys were amazing! Truly amazing!!! Thank you for driving all the way out there. It was such a pleasure meeting you both and getting to know you more. You guys look so beautiful in all the photos and we hope that you love them!
