To be honest with you, in the past, I’ve wondered many times if posting on Instagram, Facebook, writing blogs, emails or anything like that “worked”. Is it doing anything for our business? Is it making any kind of impact? Is anyone really reading the stuff we write? Does anyone really care? When I began asking those types of questions, my mind went to places it didn’t need to go. It just created negativity after negativity and nothing good came out of it. It was waste of time, really. So, in the last few years especially on IG, my goal has been to always just be authentic and real as possible with our posts and stories and not mind on what people would think and simply just be us. We want what’s represented on social media to be who we really are in real life. Well, one of the questions that we always ask our clients is how they found out about us. The answer to that question is so important in more ways than I can share. When Craig told me that Lakeya found us on Instagram, I said, “oh awesome!” Then he asked me, “Do you know which post that made her like us?” I was like, “Um… Idk… the most recent post with the fire?” He said, “No, the one you posted with you and I and where you shared about how we work together as a couple and what our roles are.” Oh, that warmed my heart so much! Posting on social media is such a big part of my role in our business, and that was so encouraging to hear. It motivated me in ways that I can’t describe and it made sharing online even more fun, so for that, thank you, Lakeya + Jermaine!
Now, let’s talk about our couple! As you have already read, you know that they’re super nice. Yes, but they’re so talented too! So, guess what you guys? Lakeya used to be a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader! Say whaaaaat?! So cool, right? I don’t know much about cheerleading, but I know THAT is a big deal! One of her fav human is Audrey Hepburn, so for the first half of the shoot, it was Audrey Hepburn inspired shoot, and they NAILED it! The location, her hair, her hat, their outfits, and EVERYTHING came together so nicely. You know, it’s hard to look good even in one style, but ya’ll… they rocked two totally different styles. For the second half of the shoot, we all decided on the Outcast Mural in Atlanta. Craig was so happy to be able to play with FIYAH, and if you know him, you know he will take any opportunity with that. Craig came home telling me how much of a good time he had at the shoot, and of course showed me the fire shot first. hehe Lakeya + Jermaine, we are so very happy that you found us on Instagram. It was fun creating these beautiful photos with you. You guys are looking amazing in them, and we hope you love them! Stay amazing!!!!!
With much love,
Craig + Unchong
