With some couples, we are extra lucky because we get to spend multiple days with them! Over those days, we have the opportunity to get to know them more and more… with South Asian weddings, it’s full of culture and traditions that we absolutely love and it never fails to amaze me. It’s literally and figuratively so full of bright, happy colors and to photograph it is simply fun. But more than anything else, it’s so awesome to see the tight bond that all the family members have with one another. The affection and love that they portray totally warms our hearts. The parents are so proud of their son and daughter… their siblings are truly happy for them, and of course all the relatives like aunts, uncles and cousins are all there to support the joy and happiness of the couples’ future. I especially noticed how Sam always made sure that his brothers were included in the photos. He adored his little brothers and that really touched us. It’s neat to see generations of family members come together to celebrate even during a pandemic and to make the best out of what we have. The pandemic has changed many plans for our couples, but what it brought was the meaning of what’s truly important and for that, I’m thankful. Weddings since COVID have been more full of love than ever before…
Naureen looked gorgeous in all of her dresses! Not many brides get to wear so many and wow, she looked amazing in every single one of them. Sam of course looked dapper in his suit (with and without the beard), and together they made a picture perfect couple. I mean, you can totally see for yourself! Loved their genuine smiles in front of the camera…. Naureen + Sam, we appreciate you guys very much and thank you for being so beautiful!
With much love,
Craig + Unchong
