Beauty is a relative… everyone sees it and values it differently depending on how they were raised, their beliefs, their own sense of taste and style, their morals and even their culture. Every wedding we go to, it’s focused on beauty. Wedding planning is driven by making a bride’s day look beautiful and on a wedding day, it’s made sure that a bride feels her best and yes, beautiful. Our job is to make our couples look and feel amazing through the lens as much as possible. That’s how our clients are satiated…. the more beautiful they look in the photos, the happier they are. These things are all true and great, but there’s another side of beauty that we got to experience on Jessica + Kadir’s day. Was it beautiful? Oh my word… YES! In fact, it was one of the most gorgeous weddings we’ve ever shot! As wedding photographers, we spend time with our bride and groom more than any other vendor gets to and we get to experience them closely, all day. Jessica + Kadir’s wedding was jaw dropping! From Jessica’s dress, the ceremony decor, their cake, the reception details and everything between, it was all just wow… I will remember that aspect of their wedding, but what Craig and I experienced at their wedding is something that can’t really be seen or be photographed. Have you heard of the phrase, “inner beauty”? Yeah, me too, and this couple defines it. They have so much of it, but they don’t even know it or boast about it and that’s what makes them so beautiful to me. That’s what humility is…. their kindness, their joy, their happiness and their love exude from within and it can be strongly felt by the one that has the honor or receiving it. Our couple went through a lot to see this day happen.. there were many planning challenges that they had to face and they faced it gracefully and patiently. They overcame each obstacle one at a time, and they did it so well and here we are now blogging the happiest day of their lives. Beautiful inside and out? Oh yeah…. that’s definitely a great way to describe their wedding for sure. Jessica + Kadir, you guys did it! From the bottom of our hearts, CONGRATULATIONS!
