Few years ago when we did senior portraits, it seemed like another shoot we had to do. But now, it feels so personal and emotional to us because we officially have a teen ourselves. To think that our child would be going through this special year in such a short time is pretty surreal. If we feel that way, we can’t imagine what those parents must be going through. Through our kids’ activities, we met Eryn’s mom a few years ago. She has always been so welcoming and outgoing, so it was easy to get to know her and just freely have a conversation whenever we met. I feel like our kids were so young, but here we are now taking portraits of her daughter who will be entering her senior year this fall. During those conversations, I was able to receive much advice since her kids are older than ours. She goes above and beyond for her precious children and family… She is one of the most dedicated mom and wife I know, and I so admire her for that. It is no wonder that Eryn is so beautiful, smart so sweet and oh my gosh talented! We did a couple of shots with her sketching because she is so good at it!! I can only draw literally stick figures… wow, she’s so good that I could see her drawing or animating for companies like Disney! I mean, you never know, right? She plays the violin too and of course, I’ve seen her be great at taekwondo among many other things. I believe that it takes both an obedient child and a wise parent to have an amazing parent/child relationship, and they have really accomplished this well. Bravo indeed! Eryn, it was a pleasure spending an evening with you and your mom during your shoot. You truly are beautiful… we pray that you will always stay focused on the Lord and that whatever decision you make, big or small, that you will be a blessing to Him. May you be loved by Him endlessly and abundantly. Have the best senior year and we wish you al the best in your future endeavors! Thank you for giving us the honor to celebrate this special milestone with you!
With much love,
