Philippians 4:8 says, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” And to that, I say, 'AMEN!’ 2020 was an interesting year indeed and there are still a lot of things going on in our world in 2021. We have so many distractions, so many voices and opinions around us. What do we listen to? Who do we believe? That’s why I love this verse for especially a time like these… It tells me what to focus on and what should be our priority. I am so thankful for James + Kim because during the time we were with them, they were the ones that were true, noble, right, pure, lovely and admirable. I could just focus on them, and I knew I was doing a good thing. Their love for one another was truly remarkable…. just so pleasant, you know? I think they treated us more nicely than the way we treated them. They definitely out served us in that way… As much as we enjoyed capturing this couple’s engagement, I wished I had time to just sit and have a conversation with them. They have so much to share and I have so much to just listen and learn. This evening was such a beautiful night for us…. everything went well and was a true delight to be with people who were so kind. Kim + James, we are so grateful to have met you!
