Words are powerful. With one word, you can make someone’s day or life for that matter or tear down someone forever. There have been words that hurt so much that I would choose to be ill than go through that again. But, there has also been words that was the most uplifting and encouraging words that I can clearly still hear and feel the effects of it to this day. I can remember the exact moment… where I was, who spoke it and what it felt like so clearly. With some, you can leave them and feel discouraged and negative, but not with couples like Jessica + Kadir. Our time with this couple was like no other… I mean, I couldn’t even describe it. They were the most beautiful, the most humble and the most welcoming and kind couple we’ve ever met. And, we are seriously not just saying that. There were times when we thought, “Where are we?” Not saying that our previous couples were not nice or anything like that by any means, but something about this couple was definitely very unique and special. It’s pretty obvious through the photos that they are incredibly gorgeous. I mean on a scale of 10, they’re definitely a 12! But, it will always be their most friendly smiles and encouraging words that will stick with me forever. They are one of those people in our lives where I will remember how I felt when they said such kind words to us. When life isn’t so great, I will for sure reminisce on this day. Jessica + Kadir are getting married at the St. Regis as well, so we ended the shoot at St. Regis after Chastain Park. Since we were there, they showed us where the ceremony and the reception would take place, so it was great to talk about their wedding plans a bit then. But, we got to talking so much and we were all starving by then that they offered to take us out to dinner. How sweet, right? It was a taco place across from the hotel and it was SO YUMMY! We talked and talked and talked and could’ve talked even longer… It was so amazing to be able to meet someone for the first time and just click so quickly. It was such a pleasure getting to know them… Jessica + Kadir, you guys are AMAZING! Really… we appreciate you guys from the bottom of our hearts. You have encouraged to be better, you have shown us to be kinder and you have taught us to always positively impact those around us. We are grateful for you and can’t wait for the day you guys become Mr. and Mrs! It’s going to be one fabulous day!
