Since the pandemic, we haven’t gone to a bridal show in long while, but earlier this year when we heard that there was going to be one at the Avalon, it made us wanna go! Avalon is a beautiful outdoor mall in Alpharetta, GA, and it’s one of our fav hang out places. We have shot many portraits there too! Well, it was a great thing that we made that decision because we got to meet Elyse there! The booking process with them was so easy… Elyse + Jack just know what they want and with couples like that, things just get done, and I love that! Her mom was so helpful as well, so we were very grateful for her too.
For their engagement, they decided to begin at their new home, and omg ya’ll… I felt like I entered a magazine when they opened the door! What great taste and style they have with interior design! They have a great eye with decor! We do a lot of DIY in our home and have a few design clients, so we couldn’t help but notice how everything was so cohesively decorated. Great job, guys!!! Looks amazing! They had great natural light coming into their home as well, so it was so great to photograph there! This home is their first home together, and the place where Jack proposed to Elyse, so it was only necessary that we shot here. Because it’s their home, they looked extra comfortable and natural in front of the camera… I knew that Elyse was a detailed person when she told us that she planted the flowers in her front yard that morning at 7am just for the shoot to add some color! Now, that’s what I call dedication to the art of photography!
We went to a nearby park as their second location, and that park allowed various looks for our couple in their dressy outfits. There were some blossoms, greenery, skyline, and cool art pieces that fit their look perfectly! Well… any place would have looked amazing for them because they’re such tall, beautiful, model looking type of people! Beautiful people make beautiful pictures, they say, and it’s true! Every click created perfect shots of our picture perfect couple… we just couldn’t have asked for a better day and photo shoot. Elyse + Jack, you guys were awesome! Thank you for a great, laid back session… you guys are so easy going and fun to be around. It was great getting to know you both more, and we can’t wait to celebrate you two on your wedding day next summer!
