“Don’t give up” seems to be the theme in our household this week… or, I guess that’s for life in general. But really… sometimes, I really look back at how far we’ve come along with our photography business and it’s unbelievable. If you told me that 14 years ago, we would have clients like Alice + Tim pay us money to photograph their wedding and engagement, we wouldn’t have believed you. If you told us that they would drive to where we are to get their engagement shoot done, we wouldn’t have believed you for a second. We don’t do everything right, but one thing that we have done right through this journey was not give up. When doubts came, we still kept on… when we felt like we weren’t good enough, we kept on…. when we thought we could never make a living through this, we kept on. You get tested all the time, but you have to KEEP ON! Sometimes we wonder if couples like Alice + Tim really know how much we appreciate their trust in us and if they know that clients like them were at one time a dream for us. Our clients thank us all the time, but we truly talk about why they would when we should be the ones thanking them. I mean, to me, they’re giving us business, so we are the ones that are grateful.
Gosh… our evening with Alice + Tim in Atlanta was literally perfect. The weather first of all was remarkable, our couple was drop dead gorgeous, and every click of the shutter took only beautiful photos of these fabulous couple. They were SO EASY to work with…. they had the most calm personalities and sweet countenances. Wish they lived here because I seriously want to be their friends! :) hehe We truly enjoyed every second of the shoot…. we were so bummed that it went by SO FAST! We wish we had time to eat dinner with them or something, but they had to hit the road to begin their long drive back home. We are so happy to be presenting these portraits to them today! Alice + Tim, we hope you love them… I looked through this blog post so many times! You guys are seriously just stunning, and we can’t wait to see you again in January! Wow, it’s only a few months away already, and it’s going to be one incredible day! Working with you have been the easiest thing, and we are excited to document your wedding! Until then…
