I believe that people who are sentimental are usually the ones that fall in love with portrait photography… they value it because it’s beyond just taking photos. There’s meaning behind each shot and the purpose of why they’re taking them. As smart phones have become an essential part of our lives, the love for photography has never been so popular! I knew that our couple, Scarlett + Ryan, were sentimental when they wanted to restage the day that Ryan proposed to Scarlett in their home during Christmas. We took these photos in February, but it was Christmas all over again for their engagement shoot! They did an amazing job with the decor! As soon as we stepped into their home, it felt so cozy just like Christmas should. It even smelled like Christmas! They had real fire going in their fireplace and fireplace images on their TV too. I absolutely loved it… I just loved the style of interior design. It’s so elegant and classy! After a few intimate shots and then a few staged shots, we headed over to Chateau Elan which was only minutes away from where they lived. Let me tell you… the weather was just fantastic! It couldn’t have been better! It was a perfect evening for an engagement shoot, and we got some beautiful shots of our beautiful couple! The sun gave us the perfect amount of light and glow, and it was just showing off! Its light shined on our couple, and it was truly a photographer’s dream come true. We had an amazing time getting to know this sweet, hard working bride and groom. Loved every second of it! Scarlett + Ryan, thank you for having us as your photographers. It was such a pleasure spending this evening with you… may you continue to be blessed, and we can’t wait to reconnect in the summer when you begin your wedding planning!
With much love,
Craig + Unchong
