Honor… what is that exactly? It’s defined as “great respect”, but to me, it goes beyond that. It’s acknowledgement, it’s kindness that’s given more than expected… it’s genuine love that you feel from another. It’s when someone treats you like you’re more important than them. It’s when they humble themselves and highly esteem you no matter who they are and no matter who you are to them. Or, I can just define it by saying, Sandy + Brad. :) You know, when you’re truly humble, people know… people can sense it with their sixth sense. That’s what I felt all day amongst everyone at our couple’s wedding. They were so honoring with one another, they were so honoring with their family and friends and yes, even to us, the vendors. Being a vendor sometimes honestly can be hard because yes, that honor isn’t there. Sometimes venues and guests can treat you like you’re not very important which is sad because that’s not the way it should be with any human being… But, our couple? No… they don’t tolerate things like that. Did you know that this couple actually had a seat for us at the reception just like other guests? Oh my gosh! HOW SWEET!!! How unexpected! How honoring! We were so truly honored and touched by that greatly!!!! I’m telling you…. I’ve learned so much from Sandy and Brad. At the end of the day, LOVE is all that matters in life… how we love each other like the way God loved us first and continues to love us is seriously all that matters. That’s it! It’s quite simple really, and it’s our choice to keep it simple and real. I love how our couple chose to do that… everything was meaningful and true. From everything they invested in for their wedding to their vows and all the details, it was so authentic… It was felt in the heart, and I’ll never forget it! When you have character like that, it makes you shine from within which makes you even more beautiful. Sandy was truly one classy, timeless bride that made every click of the shutter worth it! I personally just loved her style… she is such a lady, and Brad was her handsome prince indeed. Together they were picture perfect and together, they gave our job so much meaning. To us, it was more than taking photos of just a bride and a groom dressed nicely, it was capturing the essence of their true love for one another. Sandra + Bradford, it was OUR honor to be there and to celebrate the day with you. Thank you for being who you are and being a light to our world. We are so grateful for you in many ways! You give so much hope to our broken world… Can’t wait to see the impact you have to those around you and in all that you do now as a married couple. Thank you for having us as your photographers. We enjoyed every second of it! We hope you love these memories from your big day and that you cherish them forever!
With much love,
Craig + Unchong
