It’s so important to know what voices to listen to in our world. I’m not sure if it’s because we are adults, so we are more aware of the news and what’s going on or if our world seems to be really be full of negativity these days. No matter what though, it’s still our choice to listen to the voices that speak truth, love and life. There are many reasons why I love my job, but my favorite is meeting people like Alyssa + Tito who contribute positivity, genuine love and kindness to our world. Our son has been going through some illness, so I wasn’t able to attend their wedding day, but Craig told me how I missed the best day ever. We were both so bummed that we didn’t get to experience it together, but I’m so thankful for our assistant, Maurice, who is the most reliable and dependable second shooter we’ve ever had! I wanted to just cry when Craig told me the details… but, you know what? I’m not surprised at all that their day was amazing. I was there for their engagement session last year and it was the most pleasant one. When we were at Piedmont Park, these boys came over to us asking if we’d buy something for their fundraiser, and I remember Tito treating them so sweetly and giving them money. The way he encountered them was one I know that they will remember and be touched by. It was seriously like that for the entire session… They treated one another with gentleness and calmness and patience. I left that shoot wanting to be more like them and just being inspired by their love to each other and to others. So yeah… even though I missed their wedding day, looking through these photos, I expected nothing less from these two. Nothing less of these beautiful, real emotions that were captured… Through these photos, I can now feel like I was there. Alyssa + Tito, you guys are such great examples of what our world needs! Keep doing what you do… Hope you know that your love and kindness don’t go unnoticed. We are so happy for you! May your love for one another and everyone you encounter always be such a positive impact. We hope that you love your photos as much as we do as more! May you continue to be BLESSED!
