Life takes commitment, endurance and grit. Anything worth living for takes persistence and hard work and a lot of patience… The more I live this life, the more I realize that life is not easy, but it’s so worth fighting for and that’s why we do it and that’s why we CELEBRATE it! That’s why we love this job! We get to photograph the good and fun part of the celebration, but we understand what it took so much to get there and that it means the world to our couples. Because you know what? It meant the world to us too…
We had to reschedule Fabiola + Steven’s engagement shoot the first time because their car broke down on the way over to the location. They felt awful, and oh my goodness, so did we! We felt horrible because of how bad they felt and we kept saying sorry to each other. In that moment, I sensed the sincerity and the honesty of our sweet couple. Things happen in life and it simply just sucks sometimes. But, you know… there’s tomorrow. Something like an engagement shoot can be rescheduled and that’s exactly what we did. But this time, guess what? The weather didn’t cooperate. Oy! But, guess what??? That’s easily fixable too, because there are things that are just out of our hands like weather. So, a third reschedule was necessary (which has happened many times before, by the way…), and this time, it was ON! The weather wasn’t the best this time either because it was VERY cold, but at least it wasn’t rainy or anything. Our strong bride and groom were willing to go for it, and we were very supportive of it. As expected, we didn’t hear one complaint from them because people like Fabiola + Steven don’t! Whatever life throws at them, they know how to conquer and WIN! Gosh, I love that so much! I love Fabiola + Steven! We had such a delightful time with them at the beautiful Minnehaha Falls in North Georgia. It is by far my favorite waterfall in this area to shoot, and I’m thankful that we got to share it with them. Fabiola + Steven, you guys are the real deal! We are thankful that we are getting to know such a strong couple who are so lovable to one another and to others. You guys are beautiful inside AND out… it was a joy to spend this time with you and document a significant time in your life; your engagement! We are going to have an amazing time on your wedding day! Get ready! BOOM BABY!
