Family is everything to me… because I come from a broken family and childhood was rough, I’ve always dreamed of having one together, but the most important thing was for it to be a healthy one. No one’s family is perfect and we are all dysfunctional to a certain extent; however, even in the midst of all that chaos, God’s grace has always been in the midst and for that, I’m grateful. Because family is so precious to me, we value family portraits in a way that is different from other types of photos that we do. It all has meaning of course, but family photos really get me. When we see clients who come back year after year like Christen + Sean, we get to document the growth of their family and it warms our hearts like no other. Because we know how valuable these photos are to the parents, we can’t help but give it our all to capture the beauty of their fam as it deserves. It takes a lot to be a parent, to run a household, to raise kids, to make ends meet, to do it all… so yes, doing something like this to celebrate yet another year that’s completed for your family is so so so worth it. Christen makes sure that photos get done for her family every year, and we appreciate clients like her who knows how to appreciate the quality of photography. Every time we see them, their boys have grown so much! Wow! Is this the way people feel when they haven’t seen our kids in awhile? Wow, kids sure do grow up SO fast! It’s bitter sweet, so I’m so glad that this family makes family portraits a top priority. We got to see Christen earlier this year to do branding shots for her real estate business too, and that was so fun!!! Christen + Sean, thank you for continuing to trust us for all your photographs.
