As we drove home from Yura + Alan’s wedding, Craig and I looked at each other and said, “That was the best wedding we have ever photographed. WOW.” We drove home NOT tired, but just happy and thankful that we get to do something like this as a job. Being wedding photographers and small business owners are not easy by any means, but on this day, it felt like we were living the dream. Nothing is perfect in our world, but this wedding was pretty close to it! I mean, this couple did so many things RIGHT! They spent money where it mattered! AHHHHHHHHH….! This wedding was such a text book perfect wedding that I think Yura + Alan should hold a wedding conference for all the brides and grooms to be. Our best advice for couples for weddings is to spend their money well. To spend it where you’re going to get the most return and where it’s most important. The most important things that matters on a wedding day is the planner, the DJ, the food and yes, the photographer! If you have all the money in the world and the budget is not a problem, this advice isn’t for you, but for most of us, a budget is needed, and BRAVO to Yura + Alan for budgeting excellently! They really chose amazing vendors, and we all worked together well, and the entire day flowed flawlessly. On top of that, this couple had style…. OMG! I think they should just be models, right? They couldn’t take a bad photo even if they tried! When you combine great style with genuine emotions and beautiful, authentic hearts together, that creates the most stunning wedding photography, and what an honor it was to be there to capture this day! And oh, did I mention that the weather was just perfect, the sun was just showing off by glowing the best light and the wedding party was so fun to be around and cooperative and their families were so supportive and amazing! Whew! Oh wait! They picked a great venue too…. Georgian Terrace is seriously one of the most beautiful building in the city of Atlanta. We love shooting at this venue! You don’t need much decor here because it’s already so beautiful, but they sure did well with all the decor too!
More than anything though, we felt that we connected with Yura + Alan. They’re so down to earth and easy going! Authenticity is a characteristic that is most attractive to me in people and these two had that. They have genuine hearts, and it shows in everything that they do. During the wedding, we couldn’t help but care for them like they were our younger brother and sister. It made us so happy to see them happy and have a good time. Speaking of good time, their DJ was off the chain (again, a great investment!), and it was THE best party we’ve seen yet, and we have seen hundreds of them! And, it helps when you have a great planner/coordinator like Crystal Pink Events who are always on top of thing!! Yura + Alan, you guys have been wonderful! Really, I can’t think of more adjectives right now because I’ve used all the ones I know on this post already. :) Your wedding will be an example to all of our future brides as what to do. Congrats on a successful celebration of the best day of your life! We hope that these photos will do it justice and that you will cherish these photos forever and that it becomes an heirloom in your family. We love you both and may God continue to pour down His sweet blessing upon your lives!
