When we are on the way to a wedding, one of the things that we wonder about is definitely the bride’s dress! Most of our couples have engagement sessions with us, so getting to know them during that shoot is very special personally and professionally, it’s a time for us to get to know their style and personality. That helps us determine how to serve them on their wedding day the best way possible. When the bride reveals their dress to us, it’s really like opening a special package and wondering what’s inside! I couldn’t help but go, “wow………” when we saw her dress especially when she put it on. It fit her PERFECTLY, and we just knew it was going to be a great wedding photographer’s day! We also love it when she chooses to go all out with the veil because there’s just so much you can do with that for portraits. It adds a great, timeless element that makes wedding photography, wedding photography! When we first see the bride and meet all of her bridesmaids, that sets the tone for the entire day. When our bride greeted us with a big hug and her beautiful smile, we had no doubt that the day was going to be a great, fun one and it was indeed! And we will not forget about the groom! Ryan was just as kind and looked amazing on his big day as well. When you have a great couple and their entire wedding party is easy going and fun to work with, what more could we ask for? Kelly’s mom was so helpful and the entire day flowed flawlessly. It takes a lot of planning for all these details to come together, so we appreciate her mom’s attention to those details because someone has to do it and she did it excellently.
They chose to have their ceremony at a beautiful church, and the reception was at one of our favorite venues, Ivy Hall, in Roswell. We love working with this staff and their food is amazing! As a vendor, let me tell you… some venues don’t make it as easy as the way they do when it comes to eating. But, Ivy Hall has got it all together, and they seriously do a great job with the food which is a big part of the wedding day and the biggest expense. It’s so heart breaking when we see our couples spend so much money on food, yet there’s nothing to show for that especially taste. We have been to countless venues, and Ivy Hall really knows what they’re doing and the staff is excellent! Experience is everything when it comes to events, and we truly love it there…
Kelly + Ryan, you guys made our job super duper fun! Thank you for always willing to get the shot and smiling so brightly every time. Between the engagement shoot and now your wedding day, it’s been such a pleasure getting to know you both. We celebrate your marriage, and we were truly happy to see you guys have a great time dancing the night away. The way you guys looked at one another gave us no doubt that you were in love and falling in love with one another more and more as the night went on.
