Senior shoots are so special because it’s a moment in time where I clearly remember how I felt. I remember having that “senioritis”, and just wanting to graduate already and move on to the next chapter of my life… COLLEGE! I’m from Augusta, so I wanted to move even more so because there was literally nothing to do there for teens. :) What an exciting time that was…. there was so much anticipation, so many dreams, so many goals that needed to be accomplished. Everyone has a different story, but we all have similarities too, so yes, I can relate to the way our next senior, Brody, may be feeling. This family is special to us in many ways… We are in the same community raising our kids in the same schools. Our kids share activities/sports together which allow us to see each other often. This community that we share is something we definitely don’t take for granted because you really can’t do this life alone. I’m thankful to know that we have families around that we can trust and raise our kids together… We shot Brody’s older sister’s senior session a few years ago too, so it means so much that they came back for their son’s senior portraits. Brody has accomplished and excelled in many areas, and I know that his parents are very proud. We have a rising senior ourselves, so it will be our turn next year to see what it’s like to have a graduate. Brody, you have such a bright future ahead and congrats on all that you’ve already achieved in your life. It was a pleasure getting to photograph this special time of your life, and we are grateful that you chose us to be your photographer. You’re very talented and gifted, and we pray that you always seek God in all that you do. “May He bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.
