Some senior sessions mean a little more, and Ava’s was one of those for us.
Ava isn’t just one of our seniors; she’s a longtime friend of our daughter and someone we’ve known since she was little. Having the honor of photographing her senior portraits felt incredibly special. Watching her grow up alongside our own daughter has been nothing short of unbelievable, and it’s pretty amazing to realize that they’re now graduating together this year. Time really does move fast, and moments like this make us pause and soak it all in.
From the very beginning, Ava has always stood out as a smart, focused, and driven student. Her determination and work ethic have been evident for years, so it’s no surprise at all that she’s heading into her college career with such a bright future ahead of her.
Now, let’s talk about her shoot, because the weather definitely had other plans. Not once, but twice, we had to reschedule thanks to uncooperative conditions. By the time we got to attempt number three, we were all crossing our fingers and hoping this would finally be the day. And thankfully… it was. Third time truly was the charm.
The light we were given made every delay completely worth it. The sun showed up in the most beautiful way and literally made Ava glow. It was one of those rare days with the kind of light photographers dream about… the soft, warm, golden glow that elevates every image and brings out so much natural beauty. You can see it in every photo, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for her session.
All the waiting, rescheduling, and patience paid off, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything came together. We’re so excited to finally be able to share Ava’s senior portraits and celebrate such a meaningful milestone. Congratulations, Ava. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things your future holds!
