Ok so... we broke a new record at Ashley + Bobby's wedding. We broke the "we cried the most at this wedding" record. We are not just saying it either... really, there were so many emotions... beautiful emotions that is. Life brings all sorts of joys and difficulties and all those things build our emotions.
When you share such a special journey with someone, you really get to bond with them and share memories that you'll forever remember. We are so privileged to be able to do that with our clients. I mean... isn't your wedding day the MOST special day of anyone's life? When we greet our bride and groom the morning of their wedding when we arrive, we are welcomed with the most bright smiles.
My personal trainer's motto is "You have to take care of yourself first before you can take care of anyone else." She says this to me all the time.... to stop feeling guilty for treating yourself. She doesn't mean to be "full of yourself", but she's trying to make the point that making sure you're taken care of is a very healthy thing that affects everyone around you.
Family... it's the greatest gift. At times, we forget that and take it for granted, but in the end.... we love our family and that's what life is all about. As human beings, we can't help but to long for it, desire it and cherish it. There's no family that is perfect, but through struggles and through triumphs, we forgive and celebrate one another over and over again.
One of the things that we love doing with our clients is coordinating their outfits for their engagement session. Our brides send photos of their ideas to us and go back and forth with suggestions and more ideas. Ashley wanted an all out glamorous shoot for her session, so when she sent us a photo of her red dress, we were in LOVE!
Well, we were so happy when their wedding date finally arrived and as expected, it was one incredible day. From the beginning to the end, everything went well.... like everything. "How could it be?" is what we wondered all day. It was so relaxing that we thought we were in a wedding dream. :) Ah Hyun and her bridesmaids were so nice and respectful and helpful.
Thx to Google, we met this beautiful couple... Benny googled, "Photographers who shot at the Atrium" one day and found some images taken by us. So, he contact us through our website and we connected. He said, "Your photos intrigued me." (Benny, do you remember writing that email?) When we found out that he was a designer at Coca Cola, we knew that he has an appreciation of art, of creativity and of photography.
