God’s timing is always perfect. He doesn’t miss a beat. Sometimes, I don’t understand it, but I trust in Him because I’m not capable of comprehending His omnipotence. As we are all aware, our nation is going through a heartache, and we are hurting. The timing of this blog post is not a coincidence to me because of who this post is about, and it’s about Lindsay + Tony! Lindsay’s family is special in many ways to us. Her parents are people who we truly look up to and admire. Their hearts are beautiful beyond words and it’s just no wonder that they have such a beautiful daughter like Lindsay. Just like her mother and father, she has always been so encouraging, kind and welcoming to us and our family for years, and when I say years, gosh…. I think we’ve been knowing them for over 15 years! This family is the real deal when it comes to Godly love. They have the most generous heart - so much that they teach us to be generous. They preach the Gospel around the world, but the reason why I love them is because they LIVE it out in their daily lives. You can speak all day, but if your actions don’t line up with what you say, hey… what does it matter? Before Lindsay got engaged, she would time to time tell us that she would hire us as their photographers no matter what. Let me be honest with you - many people have said that, but when the time came, it didn’t work out. But, when this lady speaks, she does it and never have I ever doubted her statements. She has integrity behind her words and therefore, I can trust her. A Godly characteristic indeed! So when she got engaged, I knew we were ready to plan this party! Woot woot!!!!!! But, who is the lucky guy???!!!!!!! Oh my goodness! Tony, tony, tony! You did not have to tell me twice that she was so in love. You could just see it in her eyes! Love was literally glowing out of her face! WOW! Craig got to meet with them for a full consultation and y’all, I was so jealous because I had to stay home (not saying I don’t love my children. hehe). He told me all about Tony. For him to win Lindsay’s heart, I knew he had to be pretty amazing and he sure was. Yes, he’s nice. Yes, he is sweet. And yes! The man is so talented! (Did you know he was on “So you think you can dance?” I know… I KNOW!! And yeah… hence the incredible dance photos below…) These are things that i’m sure you’d expect to hear (except the dance part) and he is amazing, BUT… what about his heart? That is what matters…. Tony is a man after God’s own heart and that in the end is what makes him incredible. That is what’s going to make him a good husband to Lindsay, a wonderful father to her son and their future children and a leader in their home which will make him a leader in their community. As Christ as the center, what can they not overcome? Marriage is quite a journey and that’s the beauty of it… and I know that when these two unite and become one, they’re going to make some positive impact to those around them and bring healing to so many BECAUSE of their love for Jesus and His blessings upon their lives. Lindsay + Tony, need I say more? I think you get the point that we love you guys and we just can’t express how happy we are for you. These photos speak for themselves, do they not? Look at how gorgeous you guys are! I mean…. really… ya’ll… just become models. Your smiles are authentic and infectious, but your love for one another is what makes these photographs perfect. We can’t wait for the day you guys call each other husband and wife! It’s going to be quite the party. Thank you for giving us the honor to be there…
