I remember getting an email from Mat when my wife and I were at a marriage retreat back in Spring.  It was a time where we were able to take a break from life and just reflect on us.  It was indescribably amazing… I’m so blessed to be in a business that I’m so compassionate about; marriage.

When I woke up on the morning of Galina + Daniel’s wedding, I said, “oh no….” It was pouring!  Not just pouring, but thundering and lightning too!  It was so dark outside, and I was so bummed because we had planned all these outdoor portraits for the day.

I think wedding planning is one of the most ironic things out there… All of our lives, we wait for “The One.”  When we finally find it, we are faced with wedding planning which is something we have all dreamed of doing.  But, it’s so hard!  Stressful!  As much as we waited for it to happen, at the same time, we can’t wait for it to be over.  I mean, right?

Yes, I have mentioned this before, but Dyanna and her family and I go waaaaay back!  Guys, can you believe how many years it has been since we’ve all known each other?  I think about 14 years, eh? Crazy how time flies… The coolest thing though is the reason behind how we know each other.  Jesus!  Where we would be without Him, I just don’t know and I don’t want to know.  :)
