Every time I write a blog, it gives me a time of refection. I’m thankful that this is part of my job because I have to do it, and it’s good for me. When you reflect on things, it makes you slow down and really realize how much you do have and how much there is to be thankful for.

The way someone chooses to spend their time, effort and money inspires me. We have known Leo + Christianne for many years, especially Leo. Wow, now that I’m counting as I’m writing this blog, I can’t believe that it’s been 15 years. Holy cow!  Craig and I knew Leo when we were all young and single. We all hung out with other mutual friends from our church.

Inge inquired about our new line of photography called, #COKids Themed Portraits, and we were stoked when she told us about what her two girls were into.  She mentioned swimming for both of the girls and then fashion/art for her younger daughter, science/chemistry for her older one.  What GREAT themes!  As soon as she told us, our brains went wild!

In just six months, we had three shoots with this couple... their engagement portraits, wedding and now, their first family portraits!  Oh, I just LOVE people who love to document their lives!  And I have to add that Sara and David are probably the most laid back, easy going couple who I absolutely love working with.  They're the sweetest!

When Craig and I first met and began dating, I absolutely hated taking pictures.  No really, I clearly remember having a few arguments about it.  Even back then, he loved taking photos and so when I didn’t want to, he took it as me not wanting to be seen with him or just take pics with him.
