As a photographer, someone appreciating your work means the world… I think it’s still hard for some to see photography as “art”. Some think that it’s “just taking pictures… what’s so hard about that?” Especially nowadays where everyone is a photographer with their own phones and photos can be taken just at the thought of doing it, some may just not know how to value it.

So, you know how 2020 was everyone’s year? Yeah, it was supposed to be “ours” too. As traveling photographers, it was the year of our dreams. It’s neat how with some people, you really connect easily. We have what we call “love at first sight” with our clients, and Nazli + Travis were one of them no doubt! We were on our 21 Days of Travel back in November when we received their inquiry.
2020 Craig Obrist Photography WEDDING Awards
After a year where we thought we felt our business could fall apart, here we are happy to report that we completed 35 weddings. Wow… I’m sitting here amazed yet again at what God can do and how He always provides for us. No disease, no virus can stand in His way… I’m humbled by His faithfulness and promises, and come what may, we continue to place our hope in Him and Him alone.
