Some people have a special gift in welcoming and making that person feel like family… They invite you, encourage you, feed you, ask about you… They just know how to simply love someone. It comes so naturally, so genuinely and authentically. Emily and her bridesmaids got ready at her parents’ house and as soon as we entered their home , that’s exactly how they made us feel. Completely and totally welcomed.
Words are powerful. It can literally uplift or destroy someone. God created this world with his words… nothing else. In the same way, God gave us the power in our tongues; hence, what we say must be taken seriously. I begin with this because encouraging words is what we received from Consuella + Robert.
Isn’t it interesting how as connected as we seem to be these days through social media, in some ways, the true connections that we have is still the same? It hasn’t really changed…. in my opinion anyways. Even though we can access just about any info in the world through the “palm of our hands”, we still don’t know “everyone” or “everything”.
These were a few of our favorite things from Lauren + Adeyinka’s wedding day. Yes, everything worked out so well…. Lauren was breathtakingly stunning. We absolutely LOVED her dress that fit her style and figure so perfectly! She looked absolutely elegant and classy. It was the cutest when her dog walked her down the aisle.
“You have such a fun job.”
“I wonder what it’s like to only take pictures as your job.”
“I mean, all you guys do is take pictures. How hard can that be?”
“So all you do is take pictures? You can make a living out of that?”
Those are real comments that we have received... MULTIPLE times and it cracks us up because I don’t know what my friends do exactly either.
