Through our business, we get to mete our couples. And through our couples and their weddings, we get to meet other wedding professionals. Other wedding vendors are crucial to how a wedding day will flow for us. Working at a wedding is unique in that sometimes, you don’t know who you will have to work with until the day comes.
Ten years…. an entire decade. I remember when we reached this milestone. It was a big deal because it is! I absolutely love celebrating special milestones, and I love people who do the same. You should never just let it pass by. Yes, life does fly by because in our society, we all live our lives too busy.
Behind the scenes, many situations can arise during wedding planning season or when you’re planning for a photo shoot. Most people just see the end results which are beautiful photos and to most people, everything looks easy. I usually begin a blog post with something that we LOVE about our job. But, to be honest, there are things that we don’t like too. One of them is that our job is very dependent on weather… Oy! How things would be different if it wasn’t. I dread checking the weather forecast a few days before a shoot because I don’t want to see what it has to tell me.
Knowing that God is an all knowing, omnipotent God, I know and trust that there’s no such thing as “coincidence” or “accident”. Everything has a reason… every encounter we have has a purpose. Sometimes we feel like that we will never meet someone ever again or have any relation to that individual, but you know what?
