Ok… so, let me begin this blog post with a little disclaimer. Everything we write on our blog is true. Now, honestly, I may not share negative experiences bluntly, but all the positive experiences really happened and are honest and true. With that being said, I’m going to be totally honest about something.
From these photos, there’s no doubt that Victoria was stunning in her dress, that Melvin was completely dapper and that every detail of this wedding was beautiful. Yes, all those things are true, but I will remember Tori + Melvin’s wedding by the key emotional moments that will always stand out to me.
There’s a sweet bride and then there’s Gabby. She has the sweetest smile, the sweetest voice tone with sweet words flowing through… She’s always calm, patient and gentle. When I meet someone like Gabby, it always inspires me to become more like that. Yes, I do need more sweetness, gentleness and patience in my life!
When I received our next couple’s inquiry, this is what was going on in my mind… The form that came in our email said, “Bride: Cherise Washington” and I read the rest of the form. Then, I went back to the email and read it again. I said to myself, “Cherise” then said, “Wait. OMG, Cherise Washington?!”
Oh, Sound of Music… Julie Andrews… Growing up, these were a few of my favorite things. :) (You see what I did there? hehe) I remember watching Sound of Music and Mary Poppins over and over and over again. My mom got me both of the movies on VHS (I hope you know what those are.) and I probably watched those two movies more than a thousand times.
