Have you heard of the saying, “Show me your friends, and I’ll tell you who you are?” One of the things my pastor mentions often is that “You are an average of the 5 people that you hang out with the most.” I agree with these two statement 110% and as parents, we always emphasize to our kids how important it is to make good friends.
Customer service… yes, that’s a big part of business. In fact, in my opinion, that is the heartbeat of any business. Because in the end, what matters is people. People may think that they’re purchasing some”thing” or a product, but it’s really the experience. What they “feel” is what they’re investing in. If it doesn’t make them feel good, it will not be a good purchase.
Now that we’ve become “middle aged” and have kids that are entering their teenage years (wow that’s so weird to write), we can’t help but see weddings in a new light. At the beginning of our business which is now more than a decade ago, we went to weddings and thought how we wished we could’ve done that, had this, worn a different dress, etc…
“Will you marry me?” Four simple words… yet, powerful and life changing. Literally! In an instant, your life, your vision, your future BOOM changes. You now have a partner. You no longer have to do life alone. You now have someone who promises to love and cherish you for all the days of your life unconditionally.
This year, half of our clients flew in to Atlanta to get their portraits done with us. Many times, they are originally from here, but because of school or jobs, they had to move to another part of the country. But, they’re having their wedding here in Atlanta because their family and friends are all here.
Integrity, honor, morality…. you don’t hear about words like these too often these days. And, it’s even harder to find those who possess these and act upon them. But, not Jessica + Joel… they’re of a higher standard. Getting to know couples like them gives us so much hope for our world, for the next generation.
